Storage Recommendations for Recordable Media

  • Store media in its’ original packaging, unopened, until you need it.
  • Store media in a protective case, in an upright position, like a book. Never stack discs on top of each other.
  • A cool (39-68 degrees), dry place, out of direct sunlight is best. Never store discs in the attic.
  • Keep archive copies away from home, at the office, or store them with a friend or relative’s house.
