How to Safely Disconnect your USB Flash Drive

Never remove the drive from the USB port when data is being written!

Click the “Safely remove hardware” icon in the lower right corner of your computer screen. Then click “Safely remove USB Mass Storage Device”. A dialog box will appear that says “The USB Mass Storage device can now be safely removed from the system”.
